Hezekiah Prayer - 2.
HEZEKIAH PRAYER- 2 " And Hezekiah pray before the Lord and said, God of Israel which dwells between the Cherubim , thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth, thou has made heaven and earth. Lord, bow down thine ear, and hear. Open, Lord thine eyes and see, and hear the words of Sennacherib which he hath sent him to reproach the living God. Of a truth, Lord, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands. And have cast their gods into the fire, for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone, therefore they have destroyed them. Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdom of the earth may know that thou art Lord God, even thou only. Then Isaiah, the son of Amos sent to Hezekiah, saying, thus said the Lord God of Israel that which thou has pray to me against Sennacherib, king of Assyria, I have heard."- 2 Kings 19:14-20 Hezekiah prayer for life. What meaning to Christians in all Nations? In another occasion, Hezekiah prayed unto God to deliver him and his people from the hand of Sennacherib, King of Assyria. King Sennacherib threatened King Hezekiah, he never knew that Hezekiah was a man of prayer. He thought that he could deal with Hezekiah as he has did in other lands. We serve a living God, who answers prayers at all times. "Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things which thou know not"- Jeremiah 33:3. Hezekiah did not go about complaining to everybody, instead, he took it to all powerful one." Whom did you pray to? God did not forsake Hezekiah, neither did He allows the hands of Sennacherib to prevail over Hezekiah. He gave Hezekiah a sweat less triumph in that he pray. He did not allow Hezekiah to fight, He fought for him. 2 Kings 19: 35-37- And it came to pass that night, that the Angel of the Lord went out and smote in the camp of the Assyrians, an hundred, four score and five thousand ( 185,000 )., and when they arose early in the morning , behold, they were all dead corpses. SDo Sennacherib, King of Assyria departed and went and returned and dwell at Nineveh. And it came to pass, as he was worshiping, in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adramelec and sharezer his sons smote him with the sword and they escaped into the land of Armaenia and Esarhaddon his son reigned in his stead. Prayer actually works. Prayer can change that circumstance which you have given upon. PRAYERS. Father, let me be the next in line for a miracle in the name of Jesus. Amen
